See, this is what happens when I promise myself that I'm going to spend the day organising my house. Not that I'm complaining, She's a bit unfinished, but I'm a bit lacking in patience, and I KNOW that if I leave it, I won't come back to it. But who knows, maybe this time I will!

The Process

I came across a webcomic this weekend, and, while my initial reaction was something along the lines of "Wow, that's depressing" the more I thought about it the more I realised that my process is somewhat similar - to the extent that those awkward, negative emotions play a larger role in my creative process than I would like. But I guess it's all gravy if you can have a laugh at yourself in the end.

Italia!

So it was a couple of weeks ago, but went on a big 'ol family holiday to Italy. The Abruzzo region to be precise. Small villages draped across hill sides and tops, each with a castle to defend in some past age.

Blue skies, twisty ancient streets, wide golden beaches, stark dramatic mountains, lush fertile valleys, and some of the freshest food I have eaten in my life. 

We shall not speak of the Vino.
